all the addons stops working after a while they don't download at full quality of the pictures some only download videos or pictures but without stories any1 knows of a tool that works? it's funny that onlyfans is so easy to download and instagram changes it's code all the time to stop downloading
 
Anyway to automatically download lives specifically anymore? The old liam cottle Story-saver app doesn't work anymore with the security checks unable to be done and the banning of accounts trying to even login after a couple of times is a bummer. Insta lives are impossible to get unless you're there in the right place at the right time now. Here's what I do to get stuff from Instagram. It's not a perfect method but it is what it is :P As mentioned, use gallery-dl which is a super cool tool. Now create two text (.txt) files in the Downloads directory. One named InstagramNewUsers and another named InstagramOldUsers, each containing lines of Instagram profile links. The InstagramNewUsers.txt file contains users whose content you are about to scrape for the first time. The InstagramOldUsers.txt file contains users from whom you have already scraped much of their content and plan to update by downloading content uploaded after a certain date. Spoiler: You must have an Instagram account. You will also need to get the cookies from the web browser you used to sign in to Instagram. Place the extracted cookies text file in the Downloads directory. On Windows, use this for Chrome: On Android (utilizing Termux), use Mozilla Firefox and there are extensions that do the trick of extracting the cookies text file. Spoiler: Spoiler: Under constraction. Trying to replicate another of mine :D

I'm using to scrape an entire IG profile. You only need to be logged in to an IG account. No messing with cookies or configs at all. Once installed, go to the extension options and set your accounts download directory. Then, go to your IG profile of choice, and click the "Download All" button just below the username. It will create a folder in the directory set earlier and download all media there. P.S., I recommend making a separate account just for this purpose, just to be safe.

Do any of these solutions work for suscription pics/videos? I’m already subbed to one profile and while I can download photos and stories from Alola (browser), it doesn’t work with videos. You can use the app to download subscription media on Android. That's what I use.

I lost my instagram access 2-3 years ago when they started detecting browser extensions, and then forced me to 'verify' my account, which is/was bugged on Android, as the mobile app verification only worked on Apple (which I don't own). My recent site that let me download in 1800x1400 (versus default of 1080x1350) has recently been updated and I think they paywalled or got rid of said feature. Hoping someone knows. Thanks. My apologies, maybe I was unclear; this website you provided, it appears that it does not download Instagram Pictures (not Story) at maximum res (1400x1800 and vice versa). I tried with a random instagram link this afternoon, and it yielded only 1080x1350 resolution. My bad, I could have sworn that one worked. I mainly use an extension but it's not available for installation anymore. Some sites only allow you a download every few hours, sometimes per day. Let it cool off and come back some other time to see if it resets.
